Why did you go into medicine?

Since I was 10 years old, I imagined myself as a nurse caring for my parents and others. I knew nursing was the perfect fit for me, and my sister helped guide me along the way. Becoming a Nurse Practitioner was a natural next step in my career of taking care of others.

Was there any key person, milestone, or pivotal moment that helped you become who you are as a provider?

That key person would be my sister. And of course, my parents too! There is another key person I'd like to mention as well - the first Nephrology Nurse Practitioner who I met in Ohio - she saw the potential in me and encouraged me to be a Nurse Practitioner.

Reflecting on your career, what has been the most rewarding part?

The ability to help others, my family, and be a part of the teams I have worked in over the years.

Why did you choose to work at Leggett Medical Group?

The LMG Team and Dr. Leggett herself - who is such a caring and incredible colleague.

What do you like to do in your spare time?

I like to meet my friends, have a coffee, garden, and play with my beloved puppy, Sadie.
