Ellen Roberts

Position:
Office Manager

What has been your favorite job?

My favorite job of all time was working at Healthsouth when we were located on Proctor Rd.  I had the privilege of working with the most amazing and caring people who were there to take care of our patients! We all learned from the most amazing CEO/Leader, she made the job fun, and exciting while instilling the desire to help each and every patient to the best of our abilities. During my 12 years there I had the opportunity to train and mentor so many wonderful people. I believe that is where my desire for leadership began.

Why did you choose to work for LMG?

I was honored to have the opportunity to work for LMG when I was at a low point in my career.  I will always be thankful to Karen and David for the chance to get back into healthcare - which is my passion. I had the pleasure of working with Karen at the Long Term Acute Hospital in Sarasota, she was the most amazing physician, loved by the staff, patients, and families. It was my honor to have the chance to work with her again. I will be forever thankful to my sister-in-law Millie for helping to make it happen.

What do you like to do in your spare time?

I love working in my yard, planting new items in my garden and just making them look beautiful in my eyes. Just to let you know how much I enjoy it, Jeff bought me a zero-turn lawnmower for my birthday. Oh, how I love that machine! I also enjoy reading, exercise of all kinds, and learning how to meditate to keep my mind free.

Who inspires you?

Jeff and I have raised 3 beautiful daughters, they inspire me every day!  They are successful women who work hard, raise their families, and are passionate about all of their animals!  All qualities we take pride in, I think we raised them well.

What are your strengths?

I believe my strengths are in the love and care of my family, friends, coworkers, and those who need help in life.  As I age, I realize how important it is to take care of my physical and mental health. I want to be here to see my grandchildren grow into amazing adults, accomplish whatever their heart desires, and love life.
